Baseball is an outstanding game of all time. The real biography of baseball is a bit complicated. Henry Chadwick was an American sportswriter. Also known as a baseball statistician and historian. He is often called the "Father of baseball" because of his contribution in developing the game in that era. He was one of them; he took initiative in the rise of the game to its popularity in the early 20th century. He also helped to organize the game and influenced itself. The first annual baseball guide edited by Chadwick was sold to the public. It moved the hearts of infants and youngsters for the game. In 1861, he included game innings,outs, runs , home runs and strikeouts for batter. The aim was to clarify the man of the match who helped to win the game. At that time the game had a rule namely 'bound rule' , which declares a fielder can catch a hit ball on one bounce but still it would be counted as an out. Chadwick proceeded directly forward against the rule and stated that the fielder must catch the ball on the fly then it will be counted as an out. Later in 1864, the bound rule was knocked out for its failed approach after the ball was hit. In 1867 Chadwick was escorted by the "National Base-ball club" of Washington DC on their following national tour. The following year He wrote the hardcover of " The Game of BaseBall". The tour of England which included games of both baseball and crickets Chadwick campaigned against the effects on the game. When Abner Doubleday was declared as the inventor of baseball Chadwick was withering with fact. Later he willed his baseball library to Spalding(his friend). Although he was hurt and had self-esteem, he followed his heart and always had the best interest in the game. About Chadwick Anthor William Cook wrote that "Chadwick was at times a bit self-aggrandizing,but his heart was always deeply rooted in looking after the best interest of the game" . In 1876 in an article, Chadwick was humiliated by saying " he has had enough experience to have made himself a man of respect …...to call himself the"Father of the game". Author cook also wrote Chadwick may have been a victim of 'western journalism'. Henry Chadwick will always be remembered as the pioneer in the baseball biography. He left an indelible mark on the history of the game. He helped to establish the game in the American culture. In the first book Hall of Famer, the deep research of his biography took place and known at the time of his death as the " Father of the Base Ball". It concludes the symbolic rise of the game and helped to become establish firmly in the American cultural institution. You may have heard of a young man named Abner Doubleday, the inventor of baseball. He invented baseball in Cooperstown, New York in 1839. Not only the word he designed the diamond, indicated the fielder's position, and instructed the rules and regulations. Abner Doubleday was a United States Army officer and Union major general in the American Civil War. Doubleday achieved minor fame as a competitor in the battlefield but gained more fame in the baseball game. There is much evidence where Doubleday was claimed as a "myth". In an article Baseball historian George B. Kirsch informed the Doubleday-Cooperstown is a myth, which nonetheless remains powerful in the American imagination because of the achievement of Major League Baseball and the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. So the baseball historian described the whole situation and results of the Mills Commission as a 'myth'. Later after the death of Doubleday, many letters and papers were found where he never considered himself as a prominent person in the evolution of the game. In 1907 Albert G. Spalding appointed a commission which concluded Doubleday introduced some essential rules of the game in the summer of 1839 at Cooperstown, New York. Despite the lack of perfect evidence of the origin of the game with Doubleday, in 1937 the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum was formed. Later it was proven that Doubleday was not in Cooperstown in 1839. Since Doubleday's name has been linked in the base ball history,an exhibition game took place between two major league teams that were played from 1940 to 2008. In 1996 the Auburn Astros were renamed Doubleday. It is still quite mysterious about the fact of baseball history.
